Comments
When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to aid in spam detection.
An anonymized string, or hash, created from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. If you are, your profile picture becomes visible to the public alongside your comment upon approval.
Media
If you upload images to the website, we recommend avoiding images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) to protect your privacy. Be aware that visitors can download and extract location data from images on the website.

- If you leave a comment, you may opt to save your name, email address, and website in cookies for convenience, so you don’t have to re-enter this information when commenting again. These cookies last for one year.

Data Retention
We retain comments and their metadata indefinitely for follow-up comments recognition. For registered users, we store personal information provided in their user profile. Users can edit or delete their personal information at any time (username changes are not permissible). Website administrators can also view and edit this information.
Your Data Rights
If you have an account or have left comments, you can request an exported file of your personal data we hold, including data provided by you. You can also request the erasure of your personal data. This excludes data retained for administrative, legal, or security needs.
